SAFF Cup 2011: India gets a Relatively Easy Draw

SAFF Cup: India placed in Easy Group

Indian team were handed a relatively easy draw in the Group stages of SAFF Cup after the draw took place in Delhi. India were grouped with Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Bhutan while last years finalist Maldives were grouped with Bangladesh, Nepal and Pakistan.

Here is how they were grouped:


Group AIndia (160), Sri Lanka (177), Afghanistan (184), Bhutan (199)
Group B – Bangladesh (141), Maldives (162), Nepal (144), Pakistan (173)


2nd December:

Bangladesh vs Pakistan
Maldives vs Nepal


3rd December:

Sri Lanka vs Bhutan
India vs Afghanistan

4th December:

Bangladesh vs Nepal
Maldives vs Pakistan

5th December:

Sri Lanka vs Afghanistan
India vs Bhutan

6th December:

Pakistan vs Nepal
Maldives vs Bangladesh

7th December:

Bhutan vs Afghanistan
India vs Sri Lanka


Semifinals:  9th December:

1st Semifinal: Winner A vs Runner-up B
2nd Semifinal: Winner B vs Runner-up A

Final: 11th December
