India will have to play Maldives in the first semi finals of the SAFF Championship 2011. The winner will take on the winners of second semi finals which will feature Nepal and Afghanistan. It will be a rematch of last editions final where India edged past their opponents to win the SAFF Championship for the fifth time. Indian hopes will once again rest on the shoulders of the poster boy Sunil Chhetri who has scored 4 goals in 3 matches. Ali Ashfaq is undoubtedly the key man for Maldives and India will have to keep an eye on the forward.

Indian starting XI:

Karanjit Singh (GK), Syed Rahim Nabi, Mahesh Gawli, Gouramangi Singh, Nirmal Chettri; Clifford Miranda, Climax Lawrence (C), Rocus Lamare, Anthony Periera; Sunil Chhetri Jeje Lalpekhlua.

The match will be telecasted live on Ten Action Plus.
