Red Bull Street Style 2012 comes to India


Can you do the Forward Roll…Go Helter Skelter… Take a trip Around the world? No, we’re not losing our mind; these are the names of the tricks that you can see performed at the world's premier freestyling competition- Red Bull Street Style! After a phenomenal response in 2010, Red Bull is delighted to bring back the third edition of the worldwide competition right to your city!

Red Bull Street Style is a global freestyle soccer tournament which serves as a platform for freestylers to showcase their skills. The goal of every participating freestyler is to win berths to the World Finals in Italy! The rules are simple: 3 minutes, 2 players, 1 ball.

Starting on 25th May in Pune, Red Bull Street Style will travel to Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Chennai. The national finals will take place on 9th June, 2012 in the football crazy city of Kolkata. The winner from India will get a chance to travel to Italy and compete against winners from across the globe in the month of September.

In 2010, freestyle footballers from all four corners of the world battled it out in Cape Town. Ultimately, Norway’s Anders Solum tricked his way to emerge the champion. This year, the Indian champion will have a chance to make his way to Italy.
