Boca Juniors Football School India (BJFSI), school to one of the premier football clubs in the world, Club Atletico Boca Junior, officially launched their academy in Bangalore today. The BJFSI Academy, which will be the first of its kind in India, was launched by Boca Juniors Football Schools Manager, Francisco Morea. He announced David Moliner Monedero as the National Technical Director for BJFSI.

Mr. Francisco Morea, is very keen to develop football in India in what he sees as a country with limitless potential. "We are extremely excited about this opportunity and are 100% committed to helping develop the football in India. There is so much talent in India with limitless potential that we would like to tap. We want to create a unique experience for all the youngsters. Oscar (Aquino) will oversee the BJFSI and make regular visits to India to ensure we are achieving our objectives.

David is an experienced professional coach and will be a great asset to the BJFSI. He is an expert at identifying and developing young talent. It is this special ability that BJFSI will be employing to unearth the Indian young talents and use his elite-level coaching skills to develop them", added Mr. Francisco Morea.
Boca Juniors plans to take the BJFSI around the country with the first school being launched in Bangalore. BJFSI will run the football academy on an ongoing basis round the year and provide progressive training to the students through weekly classes following Boca Juniors methodology. Additionally, there will be periodic football camps, customized school camps and corporate training & events. To ensure that the Indian talent receives the 'Boca Juniors Experience', the BJFSI academy kids will also have the opportunity to play in international matches against the other Boca Juniors Schools including visit to the Boca Juniors home stadium in Argentina. In addition the BJFSI academy kids will be part of national and local tournaments.

Oscar Aquino, General Coordinator, Boca Junior Football Schools, commented, "This is a great opportunity for young kids to learn the South American style of football. We are keen to have the academy run on an ongoing basis rather than limited period camps. It is important to train kids from a young age and on a regular basis. David is a great coach and he will be helped by Indian coaches, all with an AFC license. We want to embed the Boca Juniors values into the youngsters, to prepare them physically, mentally and tactically. But most important of all we want them to enjoy the learning process."

David Moliner Monedero, National Technical Director, BJFSI, commented, "I would like to thank Boca Juniors for giving me this opportunity. Talent is in abundance in India and I will aim at developing the kids with the right skills. Our training team has the required experience to impart football training to the young kids, assess their skill developments and provide individual feedback.  Periodic assessments and interaction with students and parents is an integral part of our programs. We will also expose the academy kids nationally and internationally to give them more experience."

Commencing 6th July, BJFSI will run their first academy from the International Tech Park Bangalore (ITPB) sports grounds in Whitefield and Play “X” Games facility in Sarjapur. ITPB will also be the centre for the first summer camp which will be held on June 10-14. There will be an exclusive Corporate Camp for the professionals working at ITPB on 18 & 19 June.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Thomas Teo, Ascendas India said “We are happy to partner with Club Atlético Boca Juniors for the corporate football camp at International Tech Park Bangalore and excited to see our park employees will get an opportunity to take football lessons from the prestigious club. This also reinforces our commitment towards healthy living which is an integral part of our work, live and play tenet.”
