ASD Cape Town are delighted with the progress of their Indian Recruits

ASD Official Press Release

ASD Cape Town are delighted with the progress of their Indian players.  CEO Mike Steptoe said "We took a gamble in bringing Brandon Fernandes down from Goa in 2011 but the gamble is paying off.  Brandon has matured into a very talented player with exceptional technical skills and although still only 18 we expect him to move up to Europe within the next few months."  Steptoe said that "Brandon also should be on the India national team radar as he is a very special talent and already capable of playing at that level."

Indian Boys doing exceptionally well in ASD
Brandon Fernandes is not the only Indian player making his mark with ASD.  17 year old Myron Mendes who has captained India at U17 level is proving to be a revelation and his versatility in defence or midfield promises an exciting future.  Additionally, former U17 International Amarjit Singh is showing great form as an attacking mid fielder and baby of the squad 15 year old striker Aldrich Coelho from Goa is also making fantastic progress.

Steptoe went on to say that "The progress these boys have made has been phenomenal and as a result we are looking to visit Mumbai later next month to carry out  a feasibility study on the potential of replicating our Cape Town operation in Mumbai.  Obviously, this is unchartered territory for us as we have no previous business experience in India but we have identified huge potential in football ability.  We would welcome a suitable business partner with a similar vision of improving the standard of Indian Football.
