The whole Indian Football Community would be cheering for the red and golds as Kingfisher East Bengal face Kuwait SC in Kuwait at the Al Kuwait Sports Club Stadium in the first leg of AFC Cup 2013 Semi Finals. Kuwait SC are the defending champions of the prestigious tournament which is equivalent to UEFA Europa League, and East Bengal have to be at their very best in order to get a favorable result. There were some concerns for Kingfisher East Bengal ahead of the match which included several key players namely Arnab Mondal, Mehtab Hossain and Gurwinder Singh not getting visa for the game while the team also raised concerns for the scarcity of drinking water provided to them. But nevertheless, East Bengal players were granted visa and they will field their full strength team against the home side. For Kingfisher East Bengal their Japanses midfielder Ryuji Sueoka won't feature in the tie due to injury which he picked up during East Bengal quest for the semi's against Semen Padang. The hosts will have to play without Yaqoub Al Taheris(Kuwaiti International) as he is out suspended after picking up a red card against New Radiants in their quarter final clash. East Bengal would have to keep an eye on Kuwait SC star forward, Tunisian International, Issam Jemaa who is the top scorer of the tournament with 13 goals to his name. East Bengal would be hoping to come back home with a favorable results to their name while also keeping in mind that an away goal would have great significance.
