Goa-India reach the finals of Lusofonia Games 2014 Goa defeating Macau-China

Goa-India defeated Macau-China in the semi-finals of Lusofonia Games 2014 Goa with gaols from Brandon Fernandes and Sahil Tavora. Brandon Fernandes gave Goa-India the lead through his trademark free-kicks in the 17th minute of the game. Sahil Tavora scored the second goal of Goa-India in the 90th minute to wrap up the game. Goa-India will face Mozambique in the finals of the tournament on 28th January 2014 with both sides crossing each others path twice during group stages. While Goa-India won the first head-to-head encounter 1-0, Mozambique got the better off Goa-India in the second one by 2-1 scoreline.
