Mohun Bagan put in a five-star shift when they faced Shillong Lajong FC in the first of the two semi-final legs, played at the Barasat Stadium on Sunday, 8th May 2016. The Mariners came out with a 5-0 thrashing of Shillong Lajong FC with man-in-form Jeje scoring a wonderful hat-trick while Bikramjit Singh and youngster Azharuddin Mullick scored a goal each. The second leg of the tie will be played on 14th May 2016.
