Maziya Sports & Recreation(Maldives) 0-1 Bengaluru FC
BFC: John Johnson(90+4th)

John Johnson's strike in the dying moments of the game meant that Bengaluru FC came away with all three points in the tricky away encounter against Maziya Sports & Recreation of Maldives. The goal came from a free-kick in the final minute of the injury time of second half when Amrinder's floated delivery was guided towards the goal by Marijan Jugovic and an outstretched John Johnson managed to put the finishing touch.

Rabindra Sarobar Stadium, Kolkata
Mohun Bagan(India) 3-1 Abahani Limited Dhaka(Bangladesh)
MB: Jeje Lalpekhlua(45th), Balwant Singh(48th), Sony Norde(87th)
ALD:  Jonathan Brown(21st)

In Kolkata, Mohun Bagan hosted Bangladesh's Abahani Limited Dhaka in another Group E fixture. Bagan went a goal down in the 21st minute thanks to some dodgy defending, as Jonathan Brown scored for the visitors. Backed by the support of home crowd at the Rabindra Sarobar Stadium, Mohun Bagan started their comeback with an equalizer through Jeje Lalpekhlua who turned and shot with his left foot after Sony Norde controlled a delivery from the right. The goal came at the stroke of half time as both the teams were even as they went for the lemon break. Three minutes into the second half, Balwant Singh gave the lead to the host with a delightful left footed effort from a Katsumi Yusa ball. The game was sealed in the 87th minute when Sony Norde literally toyed with Abahani's defense and finished off the move to make it 3-1.

Bengaluru FC lead the Group E standings with 6 points from 2 matches followed by Mohun Bagan - 3 points from 2 matches.
