Indian team received an early setback in the AFC U23 Championship China 2018 Qualifiers as they lost the opener to Syria 2-0 in the game played at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, Doha on Wednesday, 19th July 2017.

The Indian side will face hosts Qatar in their next fixture on Friday, 21st July 2017.
